So if my premise is wrong, and after reading your reasoning I do believe it is, I'm wondering if lowering the playing time limits to 100% or 90% across the board might achieve the effect I'm looking for? Maybe the CM will rest starters so they don't become replacement level players. I doubt this will work, but I'm running the sim right now and I'll report back any success. If it doesn't work, it looks like there is no other option for draft rosters other than to go in and try to manually set each roster in an as realistic way as possible. Maybe I can find some league average of GS for each position, and just apply those numbers across the board for each team.
