I agree. I confess I turn off the bullpen warmup system. The reason is the AI never "forgets" to do anything. It perfectly monitors all its pitchers, something no human being can ever do. I try not to abuse the lack of warmup rule. If a starting pitcher is getting hammered in the early innings, I don't just jump in at the optimal moment. I give it a few batters before I even consider replacing him. I feel like the pitcher fatigue system adequately challenges me as a manager. That's one area I would really focus on as a sim manager. Don't throw everything you have into every game trying to win it. Pick your spots to rest your key relievers and use your filler guys and your bums when the game is out of hand.
